Due to the paper leak controversy, The Government of the Rajasthan State has canceled the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET 2022). Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot published the REET Cancelled Notification for Level 2 Examination. The Ashok Gehlot said that the REET Level 2 Exam Date will get postponed, and rescheduled on 14th May 2022, and 15th May 2022. This Examination was held for 20,000 or more vacancies. The CM also tweets that the government would make sure all those people who were responsible for the paper leak would be identified and punished.

- Having Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent.
- Those applicants who have qualified Higher Education (or equivalent) with 45% marks as well as qualified or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education recognized by NCTE or equivalent.
