Under the Kusum Mahaurja scheme, farmers will get solar water pumps which is an initiative taken by the State Government of Maharashtra and the Central Government. The solar water pumps and mahaurja scheme is given to farmers of Maharashtra state who do not have electricity connections with them and are in need of electricity. There will be three types of capacity irrigation pumps- (7.5, 5, and 3 HP).
