Supporting the studies of girls, the government of Uttar Pradesh has announced a new scheme for girls, called the Kanya Sumangala Yojana 2023 . Under this scheme, the expenses incurred on the study of girls will be borne by the state government and the benefit of this scheme can be availed only by maximum of two girls of the family. This scheme has been issued by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Aditya Nath Ji, with the objective of providing better education to the girls of the state.

The benefit of this Kanya Sumangala Scheme can be availed only by the family whose annual income is less than Rs 3 lakh. Under this scheme, a total amount of 15000 will be provided to the girls, which will be received in 6 equal installments to the girls. The amount directly transfers to the bank account in the girls. The government of Uttar Pradesh has prepared a total budget of 1200 crores rupees for this scheme.
