The International Cricket Council has announced the date and time of the ICC  world cup 2023. The upcoming World cup will be the 13th edition of the Men’s cricket world cup. As per the ICC officials, the world cup 2023 will be hosted by India. The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is scheduled for the month of October. Most likely the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 will take place from October to 23rd November 2023.

This will be the first time the competition is held entirely in India. Previously, the ICC officials had announced that the matches will be held in the month of February. But due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the match dates are delayed. After, that the ICC officials made the announcement that the date of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 has been shifted from February to October.

There will be a total of 10 teams in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. The selection method of the team will be the same as in the previous ICC ODI World Cup 2022. For the World Cup, the top seven sides plus the hosts (India) from the thirteen competitors in the Super League will qualify. The remaining five teams, along with five Associate sides, will play in the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier, from which two teams will go through to the final tournament.
