The aim of the starting of this Online Portal is to allow 45 Lakh CSD beneficiaries involving Serving & Retired persons from the Armed Forces and Serving Civilian Defence employees to buy AFD-I items (such as Cars, Washing machines, Motorcycles, TVs, Fridges etc) from the suitable of their home.

The product will be utilized for personal use and will not be transferred/ sold before the finish of 04 years from the date of buy (for four-wheelers – 05 years). In case of any contravention of instructions, such as being not deserved according to Pay Level, announcing incorrect category, buying of 04-wheelers with a gap less than eight years, and buying of two-wheeler/ any other AFD1 product with a break of fewer than four years.

For Pay Level 3A to 6 (Armed Forces Personnel (Serving and Retired) & Windows):
Pay Band: Level 3A to 6
Periodicity: You can buy the first car during in service and the 2nd car after Retirement. The 8 years of gap needed at the time purchasing of the next car. For Windows, if the late husband had bought a car each during in service and after retirement then the widow will not be applicable to purchase a car. In case the late husband had bought only one car while in service, then the widow may buy one car with the help of CSD after a gap of 08 years from the date of the last buy.
Cost: Rs. 06 Lakhs excluding taxes

Pay Level 7 to 9
Pay Band : Armed Forces Personnel (Serving and Retired) and Widows as applicable Pay Level 7 to 9
Periodically: You will buy the First car as an OR, the second car on promotion as JCO, and 3rd car after retirement. First car after at least 05 years of service. The gap between the buying of 02 cars to be 08 years.
Cost: Rs. 07 Lakhs excluding taxes

For Pay Level 10 to 18 (Armed Forces Personnel (Serving and Retired) and Widows (as applicable))
Pay Level: 10-18
Cost: Rs.15 Lakhs excluding taxes
Periodically: 08 years

For Civil Defence Officers
Pay Band: Pay Level 11 to 18
Periodically: Eight years
Cost: Rs.15 Lakhs excluding taxes

  • Here, click on the ‘New Users Registration.
