About Aasara Pension

The Aasara scheme is started by Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao who is the Chief Minister of Telangana. In this Aasara scheme government is spending more than ₹5,500 crores every year, in order to support their day-to-day minimum needs. Eligibility criteria for Aasara Pension

1, Age Criteria:

• Old Age- The age of the citizen should be 65 years or more than 65 yrs.
• Weavers- 50 years or above
• Widow- Age 1B Years and above, death certificate of husband
• Toddy Tappers- Age 50 years and above
• Persons with HIVAIDS- Who is taking the Anti Retroviral Therapy
• Disabled Person- There is no age limit

2. Socio-economic Criteria– The families who have landed on more than 3.0 acres wet or irrigated dry or 7.5 acres dry then they are not eligible for the Aasara Pension

3. People who have children working in Government or Public sector, Private sector employment, or who are Doctors, Contractors, Professionals, and self-employed then he or she will be eligible.

4. People who have children and who is Having large business Enterprise in any stream is not eligible

5. People for the pension should be in one of the following:
